“A Fight for Freedom and Education”

We are living in a world where technology has advanced so much and lifestyles have improved globally. Yet, despite these strides, there are communities where girls are still being forced into early marriages by their parents. This is the heartbreaking reality for many girls born into underprivileged families, where parents, due to financial constraints, feel they have no other option.

At FFLV, we are committed to educating these girls and giving them a chance to build better lives. However, despite our best efforts, we still encounter situations where parents, bound by societal pressures and economic challenges, are pushing their daughters into marriage at a young age. Recently, one of our school girl was being forced into marriage by her parents. When our child protection team became aware of the situation, they did everything in their power to stop it. As usual, the parents were unwilling to cooperate, but our team, determined to protect the girl’s future, sought assistance from the local police. With their help, we successfully prevented the marriage and saved the girl from a life of hardship.
