A Braid for Life

A Braid for Life

This month we had Denise, an Ayurvedic therapist from Italy, as a volunteer at FFLV. In Italy, she runs a project called “A Braid For Life” to raise donations for FFLV. For this project, she sells handmade bracelets and anklets made by our students. The jewelry consists of used sarees and sacred thread that symbolize Indian women and their rights.

It was great to see how in a short time Denise created a close bond with our students. The highlight for everyone was a workshop organized by her in which they were really pampered. Here she shared her knowledge about natural Ayurvedic cosmetics, self-care, wellness and skin care, which was absolutely amazing for the students. Thank you for your generous and kind heart, Denise. We hope you come back to Vrindavan soon.
