“Addressing Population and Gender Bias”

On World Population Day, we hosted a special event for the parents of our school girls. Our teachers shared a heartfelt message about the importance of controlling population growth, highlighting how having too many children can lead to poverty, making it hard for parents to provide for their families.

We also addressed the deep-rooted issue of the preference for boys. Many parents keep having children, hoping for a son, sometimes neglecting their daughters or even selling them. We urged parents to cherish and care for their daughters, reminding them that at Food For Life Vrindavan, we believe girls are just as important as boys.
