There is no doubt that being a teacher is an important and noble profession that is often underestimated. Teachers deserve as much appreciation and respect as any other profession, as they play a major role in shaping the next generation of youth. In India, Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year on Sept. 5. On this day, students pay respect and gratitude to their teachers. At Sandipani Muni School, a special program was organized for teachers, with students performing and organizing games for them. This year’s teachers’ day was extra special because it was the first one held since the pandemic.
